Budd Baer Cares

Through our Budd Baer Cares program, we've been a proud supporter of charitable events across the Southwestern PA area for nearly 50 years. We donate to local food banks, give blankets to cancer patients, provide books to local schools, and sponsor countless local teams and events - because being part of the community is a big part of who we are.

Because we receive so many worthy requests, we review each one carefully and support as many as our resources allow. Local organizations, causes, and events are welcome to apply for a sponsorship or charitable donation through our Budd Baer Cares request form.

Helping Local Children & Families

•      Justice Max Baer Memorial Fund - We proudly support this fund and its annual Memorial Golf Outing, which provides children in the Pennsylvania court system with life-enriching items and opportunities, from summer camps and music lessons to mental health services and college visits.

•      Local Schools - Book donations and school program support for Washington and Chartiers-Houston area students.

•      Youth Sports & Recreation - Sponsorship of local sports teams and Washington-area recreation programming that keeps kids active and engaged.

•      YMCA Princess Cup - Our Collision Center has hosted local girls to build and paint their boats for the annual Princess Cup boat race.

Caring for Pets & Animal Shelters

•      Monthly Pet Adoption Events - Through the Subaru Loves Pets program, we host adoption and donation events to connect shelter pets with loving homes.

•      Washington Area Humane Society, Bridge to Home Animal Rescue & Pet Search - We donate funds and supplies - food, litter, toys, and more - and host donation drives to support local animals in need.

Supporting Neighbors in Need

•      Subaru Loves to Help - Our annual giving event delivered 200+ winter coats and shoes to local families, along with ongoing support for those facing hardship.

•      City Mission & Washington County Food Bank - Regular donations and drives to help fight food insecurity and homelessness in our community.

•      St. Clair Hospital Cancer Center - Support for patients and families in our area affected by cancer, including blanket donations for those in treatment.

•      Care For A Cure - Proud supporters of this organization's mission to fight breast cancer and Alzheimer's disease through research, patient resources, and caregiver support.

Protecting Our Planet

•      Subaru Loves the Earth - We gave away 100 trees to the community as part of our commitment to a greener Washington County.

•      Adopt-A-Highway & Montour Trail - Team volunteer efforts to keep our local roads and trails clean and welcoming.

Community Learning & Literacy

•      Washington County Library System - Partnered through Subaru's "Share the Love" event to support library programs, events, and community engagement.

•      Subaru Loves Learning - Helping local schools and students in need with the tools and resources to succeed.
