Comfortable, smooth, and reliable
By Sam | on Friday, June 26, 2020
This is my first new car, so I can't compare it to my previous driving experiences, as my last car (Chrysler Sebring) had 20k miles on it when I purchased it. This car drives more smoothly than anything I've driven before. The steering wheel has an average response, but still feels perfectly matched with the vehicle's build dynamics. The interior is VERY comfortable, with plenty of room in the front and back seats. When the 60/40 folding back seats are folded forward, the room for cargo is impressive. The visibility is amazing, and when paired to the LED headlights, it is the best I've ever been able to see out of a car's windows at night. Although, I get high beamed by other vehicles at night, because they assume my high beams are on, they quickly realize they were the low beams when I flash my highs at them. Lol My car only has 2800 miles on it, so time will tell how reliable it really is, but for now I absolutely love this car. One caveat that I wish Subaru will change is with an update to keep ALL settings on the touch screen where I set them AFTER I turn the car off, and then back on again. Thank you Subaru for continuing production on this amazing sedan!!!… - 5.0
Solid, comfortable great riding vehicle
By Waz | on Monday, December 14, 2020
At 6"2 245 lbs I find the Legacy very roomy and comfortable. Smooth quite ride and the turbo gives you plenty of power on the highway with good gas mileage. The Touring XT is a solid and safe all wheel drive vehicle for any type of traveling.… - 4.0
Navigation System Practically Worthless
By Margaret | on Thursday, January 09, 2020
I love driving this car, but the built in navigation system is the worst I have ever seen, and not worth using. The only Points of Interest it will find by using the voice menu are brand-name stores/restaurants, not say, a local pizza place or store. Of course I could always pull over, take out my phone, look up the place I want, find the address and type it in, which seems pointless ... My husband's Hyundai will find ANYTHING within seconds. It is just useless to me not to be able to direct it to a business when I am driving and don't know the address. It shows gas stations along your route, but too bad they are not accurate, as one it shows near me has been closed for about 5 years. Luckily the Apple CarPlay works great and I can use a Nav app on my phone. The large touchscreen also has its annoyances. For instance, if i want to turn on the heated seat to medium, i need to touch the screen 3 times (all the while looking at the screen and not the road). When i want to turn it off, another 3 times. When I have a screen open, such as Waze from my phone, and I want to turn on the Auto Break Hold feature, I need to touch the screen twice to turn that on, and since its screen does not automatically close, it needs to be closed manually which takes you back to the main screen and not where you had it before, so another 2 taps to get back to the app I had open. in other words, too much tapping on the screen to get to some very basic functions.…
